Packet Data-Flow and Performance Testing on WindNet 802.11b

WindNet 802.11b DDK 1.0.1 is Wind River’s network driver for 802.11b devices based on Intersil’s PRISM family of chipsets. Cards by Agere (WaveLan/Orinoco) and 3Com will also work with reduced functionality (STA only, no tertiary or host AP), and an additional driver is provided for Cisco 340/350 devices (STA only, no tertiary or host AP). The development group positioned the package as a DDK (Device Driver Kit) because the code was written for a wide range of devices and access methods, and is intended to help the enddeveloper create a solution specific to their project’s needs.
